There is a famous quote: “A man may work from dusk to dawn, but a woman’s work is never done

Feeling overwhelmed with a mountain of laundry and ironing to do. It is called "too much on your plate or time poor!"

Your current situation probably goes something like this: You have a demanding job and / or family. Your home washing machine and dryer is going flat out, too small and cannot cope. You feel like you're on a hamster wheel, time poor and have too much on your plate. The last thing on your mind is to spend your precious weekend ironing! Stressful, we understand and sympathize!

Working more than 39 hours a week could be damaging your health, Australian researchers have found. A study of more than 7800 Australians has found 39 hours is the "tipping point" when men and women's mental health begins to suffer.

People often outsource their lawn care, house cleaning, window washing, and other tasks that they either don’t have time for, don’t have the experience to do it properly, or simply don’t want to do it. But most people never consider a weekly or fortnightly scheduled laundry service until they actually try out our service and end up loving it!

Outsourcing your laundry and ironing to the DRY CLEANING LAUNDRY HUB can save you precious weekends of boring ironing. Research has shown you can save as much as 14 hours per week for a family of 4, by using a laundry service like ours. There are dozens of benefits to outsourcing your dry cleaning, laundry, clothes mending and/or ironing to the DRY CLEANING LAUNDRY HUB, here are the top benefits to consider choosing us:

Affordability: We won't be beaten on the lowest prices and best quality. We will beat any others' lowest prices versus best quality. Our ironing per item prices are the lowest at $3.50 per item (incl GST). Does not matter if the items are shirts, jeans or dresses, we love ironing. What can you buy for $3.50 today? Not even a car park in the City or a Coke at Mackers!

Research has extensively shown that you need to dry clean doonas and blankets more than most families currently do. Often washing machines at home are too small to effectively and thoroughly wash them. There is no comparison to large commercial machines. Also, they need to be "air'ed and freshened up". The process kills dust mites and bed bugs. Doonas', blankets and linen, we give them a good "dry cleaning and airing"! We will clean and freshen up blankets for $25 and doonas' at $30 - no matter what the size. Plus: if you submit 2 for dry cleaning, we will do an additional one FREE for you. We offer free collection and delivery or easy drop off and collect.

We charge $5.50 per kilo (incl GST) to wash, dry and fold your laundry. Laundry is ready to go straight into the wardrobe. The Dry Cleaning Laundry Hub will set a weekly schedule for you and will simply pick up and drop off your laundry. This completely removes the time and hassle associated with doing your own laundry.

Speed: We pick up or you can drop off your laundry and return it to you within 48 hours. That’s quicker than you can do it yourself and we charge a fraction of the cost! Research has shown it will save you 14 hours in a week for a family of 4.

Cost: By the time you add up the cost of purchasing a high quality washer and dryer, the cost of running your washer and dryer, the cost of laundry detergent, and the cost of your time to do the laundry, in almost every situation you end up financially ahead by choosing us to take care of your laundry for you. Do the sums.

The cost of your time to consider: As the old adage goes, time is money. What is an hour of your precious personal time worth to you? When is it worth it, to hire help at a much lower cost than you value your valuable personal time? Is it better to prioritize your time, and hire help for those tasks that you find stressful, an irritant and time consuming? It is true for most, that you could be better off spending your time, prioritizing other more important activities, and assigning help for lesser activities that you don't have the time! Don't work harder and longer hours which will burn you out, rather, work more effectively and focus your energies to release time for rest and recuperation, to name one important activity. Stress is a killer.

Professional Results: Our specialty is dealing with your laundry & ironing, so we have developed techniques and a wash process to make sure your clothes are gently cleaned, stains are removed, and your clothes are returned to you in pristine condition.

If you still aren’t convinced that our laundry service will make your life easier for you, contact us to talk it through, we can answer any of your specific questions, or if you’re ready to get started,

Working more than 39 hours a week could be damaging your health, Australian researchers have found. A study of more than 7800 Australians has found 39 hours is the "tipping point" when men and women's mental health begins to suffer.

But for working women with other responsibilities such as caring for children and domestic chores, their "tipping point" can come much earlier, at 34 hours. The healthy limit for men is 47 hours, mainly because they have fewer responsibilities outside the workplace. Domestic chores are considered as stressful as working hours.

The findings of this research in Perth showed that, "extreme" working hours (slogging for more than fifty hours a week) has been getting more widespread in recent decades. Recent research showed, 25-to-64-year-old men who usually work 50 or more hours per week on their main job rose from 14.7% in 1980 to 18.5% in 2001, and to 24.5% in 2016. This combined with the impact of computers, mobiles on changing peoples lifestyles is making life more stressful. Time comes at a premium price, and you find that your life is becoming more stressful and time poor. In a phase "you have a full plate". No wonder that studies have found many health problems are related to stress. Stress is the direct cause for many conditions such as:

  • Heart disease. Researchers have long suspected that the stressed-out, type A personality has a higher risk of high blood pressure and heart problems. ...

  • Asthma. ...

  • Obesity. ...

  • Diabetes. ...

  • Headaches. ...

  • Depression and anxiety. ...

  • Gastrointestinal problems. ...

  • Alzheimer's disease.

If you have a job in the present challenging economic times, you are probably doing everything you can to hold on to it. If your employer asks you to put in 50 hours of work every week, you likely go further and put in 60 or more hours. Today, many people live in two-income households, which takes away the desire and energy for many to do laundry and ironing over the weekend or during their spare time.

Today people have less time available for leisure, studies or spending time with your families. Spare time is at a premium and you should be recuperating from a busy lifestyle instead of ironing. In fact, research has shown that using a laundry, you will save 14 hours per week for a family of 4.

DRY CLEANING LAUNDRY HUB can help you save time and ensure that you enjoy life a lot more than you do.
